Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra

The programme offers students the opportunity to study in an international environment, gain experience at partner universities abroad and develop the skills needed to address current social, environmental and economic challenges.

The programme was developed jointly by five INVEST partner universities: the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra (Slovakia), the University of Córdoba (Spain), Karelia University of Applied Sciences (Finland), the Agricultural University of Plovdiv (Bulgaria), and the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne (France).

The three-year, full-time programme is taught in English and carries 180 ECTS credits. It combines knowledge of economics, entrepreneurship, management, digital technologies and sustainability, with a strong emphasis on practical learning, international cooperation and real-world problem-solving through projects, Living Labs and cooperation with businesses, municipalities and other partners.

A key part of the programme is an international mobility period of at least one semester at a partner university. Students will gain first-hand experience of different entrepreneurial environments while developing their language and intercultural skills.

Each partner university offers a specific area of specialisation:

• Sustainable International Business – Spain
• Responsible Economics and Entrepreneurship – France
• Entrepreneurship and Rural Development – Bulgaria
• Responsible and Regenerative Tourism – Finland
• Mission-Oriented Creative Entrepreneurship – Slovakia

At SUA, students will focus on social economy, creative industries, innovation, developing entrepreneurial ideas and brand building. The programme responds to the growing demand for professionals who can combine entrepreneurial thinking with sustainability, digitalisation and social responsibility.

Graduates will be prepared to establish and develop their own businesses, drive innovation within organisations, and pursue careers in regional development, social economy, sustainable entrepreneurship and project management in both the public and private sectors.
