The event offers a comprehensive overview of the latest developments in crop production, plant nutrition and protection, agricultural technology, and livestock production. Organized by Profi Press SK under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Slovak Republic, the exhibition traditionally features SUA as a co-organizer.

Visitors will have the opportunity to explore 540 crop variety plots and 180 demonstration plots showcasing plant protection and nutrition solutions presented by 47 companies, along with live demonstrations of agricultural machinery and modern farming technologies.

The professional program will include the seminar “Modern Tractors for Efficient and Sustainable Agriculture,” organized by experts from SUA’s Faculty of Engineering. The faculty will also present the autonomous mobile robot Salamander, designed for soil cultivation applications.

SUA will showcase its educational opportunities through an interactive exhibition aimed primarily at secondary school students and prospective applicants. Visitors will learn more about study programmes, admission opportunities, graduate careers, and can participate in interactive activities and competitions. The university’s Food Incubator will also introduce innovative and healthy food products.

The event will also feature accompanying activities, including qualification competitions for the 14th Slovak Ploughing Championship, demonstrations of horse-drawn farming and historical agricultural machinery. Winners will represent Slovakia at international competitions in Croatia in September 2026.

National Field Days provide a unique platform for knowledge exchange, inspiration, and networking, offering visitors a firsthand look at the future of modern agriculture.
