SUA is one of the most successful in the ranking of TOP Responsible public procurement entities
The ranking was compiled by TRANSPAREX analysts, who focus on the collection and analysis of data from the field of public procurement, with the aim of supporting its quality and transparency, economic competition for a better business environment in Slovakia.
The award for transparent procurement was awarded to only 229 public contracting authorities out of 3,904 evaluated entities - regions, municipalities, schools, hospitals, medical facilities and other state institutions, including ministries and state enterprises.
The SUA with a final score of 78.09 received an A+ rating Very responsible public contracting authority.
For the number of evaluations, data was drawn on all public procurements that were completed in 2021 and contain information on public procurement processes implemented by announcement in the public procurement gazette, electronic contracting marketplace and low-value contracts.
Analysts obtained data by processing 180,000 contracts implemented by 5,300 public procurement entities. As stated by Matúš Džuppa, an analyst of the TRANSPAREX portal, they want to highlight the best public procurement contractors who achieve above-average results, improve the quality of contracts and strive for transparency in Slovakia. He added that there were up to 72 percent more public procurement contractors who received a below-average rating.
According to TRANSPAREX analysts, public procurement last year was carried out professionally by SUA, with an emphasis on high efficiency and ensuring fair competition. Orders are executed significantly faster than the overall average, and transparent and reliable suppliers win them.
