Téma: Exposure to mercury and lead in waterbirds: physiological and ecological implications. The lecture focuses on mercury and lead concentrations in tissues of the two waterbird species - Caspian gull (Larus cachinnans) and the Whiskered tern (Chlidonias hybrida) from southern Poland. The research assesses how the above-mentioned metal concentrations affect the broadly understood condition of individuals and populations in a spatial and temporal context.
